SHEET METAL SURFACE FINISHING MACHINE
Sheet Metal Surface Finishing Machines: BRP, BBRP and BRBP
Common Processing Challenges
Sheet metal parts may need burr removal, edge rounding, and a uniform brushed finish before delivery. Manual processing can create visible variation between operators and batches.
Visible surface scratches
Inconsistent brushing direction
Burrs before finishing
Uneven surface appearance
Manual polishing bottlenecks
Coating and appearance defects
What It’s Built For
BRP, BBRP, and BRBP configurations combine abrasive belts, rotary brushes, and finishing units according to burr level and surface finish target.
Stainless steel covers and enclosures
Laser-cut visible parts
Cabinets and equipment panels
Parts requiring linear brushing
Stainless steel
Aluminum
Galvanized steel
Copper alloys

Complete finishing configurations
Choose BRP, BBRP or BRBP by burr level and finishing sequence
Every configuration combines abrasive-belt deburring, universal-brush edge rounding and a surface finishing roller. The belt count and position determine removal capacity and when surface refinement occurs.

BRP
Belt + rotary brush + finishing roller
Efficient three-stage processing for routine deburring, edge rounding and linear surface finishing.

BBRP
Two belts + rotary brush + finishing roller
More deburring and cleaning capacity before the edge-rounding and surface-finishing stages.

BRBP
Belt + brush + belt + finishing roller
Refines the surface after edge rounding before applying the final directional finish.

FAQ
What is the difference between BRP, BBRP and BRBP?
BRP combines belt deburring, rotary brush edge rounding and surface brushing. BBRP and BRBP add a second belt stage in different positions for higher removal or refinement needs.
When should I add a surface finishing roller?
Use a P finishing roller when the part needs a controlled straight-line brushed appearance, especially for visible panels or covers.
Can one pass handle deburring, edge rounding and brushing?
Many parts can be processed in one pass, but the final result depends on material, burr severity, finish target and selected abrasive sequence.
How do I choose the correct complete finishing configuration?
Send material, thickness, burr condition, current surface condition and target finish. Lasvio can recommend BRP, BBRP or BRBP based on sample testing.
